FES in Germany

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has a network of more than 100 offices worldwide. FES headquarters in Bonn and Berlin carry out FES’ work in Germany and coordinate its international activities.

FES in Germany enhances the judgment and decision-making capacity of citizens through qualification programs and political education seminars. It does so through a wide network of offices and academies throughout Germany, as well as the head quarters in Bonn and Berlin. FES advises persons in leading political positions and mandates and stimulates dialogue between politics and society through its public forums.

Additionally, fostering the education of talented and socio-politically committed young students and academics is one of the main goals of the foundation. The Scholarship Program department offers not only financial and material support, but also an extensive program of seminars, as well as an extended network of former scholars and tutors.
