FES in Uganda

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has been working in Uganda since 1967. Throughout its presence in Uganda, FES has collaborated with political parties, the labor movement, researchers and various civil society organizations. In all our priority areas FES Uganda cooperates with Ugandan and international partner organizations that share its basic values and ideas. FES Uganda currently focuses on two priority areas:

• Supporting a functioning multiparty system
• Inclusion of social aspects in the development process

In addition to our national work, we are also part of the FES regional project on Eastern Africa.
